 +  * this is a different part that allows for vacuum connection and interfaces with the new chuckface.

 +1P5AC-0600: my driving/conditioning ring face is smooth, the recommend one is grooved. Does this provide a process improvement?
 +  * Yes. The grooved chuck face allows for the polishing slurry to better access the sample. A smooth drive ring creates a damming effect and starves the sample of slurry.

 +The post screws do in fact come out. I think they are just standard M6 optical posts (TODO: confirm). I don't need vacuum capabilities, where I think a lot of the complexity comes from.
