-Before I got nice snapping.  Now I find that it doesn't always create 90 degree lines at the end.  I'm not sure if this a regression or a setting I had found before and now don't know how to fix.  See https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/522335 I may have re-compiled it from source to fix it.
+Inkscape 0.47 and perhaps some other version has a bug where your won't get 90 degree snap on the last point.  See [[https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/522335|https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/522335]] I'm currently using 0.48.3.1 which seems to have this bug fixed.
